birdy’s sophomore album is pretty genius if you ask me
i absolutely love these:
rainy day, acoustic bedtime, classical bedtime, classic disney, classical ballet, today’s female/male singer-songwriters, americana ladies, country morning, melancholy morning, modern middle eastern, scandinavian invasion, soft pop, classic rock’s greatest hits, ’00s pop divas, sultry sirens, and obviously that contemporary bollywood…
these i like as well but haven’t listened to that much (and i admit that i usually just skip to led zeppelin or queen or whatever):
classic rock workout, epic classic rock, essential hard rock, stadium rock anthems, sing-along, sounds of fashion week, and umm eye of the tiger: confidence mix hahahha.
ooh ooh and 80s music. different playlists. lots of them.
(i know. i have an awesome taste in music. i know.)
when i was younger my dance teacher would always blast ‘work it’ by missy elliott when we were doing calisthenics and yesterday i listened to the lyrics for the first time ever and wow that was such an appropriate song for 13 year olds
